Micro-Learning is the idea of teaching people small, specific skills in small amounts of time. These skills should be skills which can help people improve their lives or make money. This way people can receive education which helps them immediately rather than waiting years to get a certification which may not be to their best advantage in their country's non-western economic system.
My idea for micro-learning in Egypt is to teach people basic computer skills. This article describes how when women were taught basic computer skills they were able to market their handicrafts better online.
Another idea I have is lessons on reading and writing through micro-learning.
